Dr. Connor Mitchell Smith is a distinguished otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon known for his exceptional clinical skill, warm bedside manner, and unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. He blends advanced surgical expertise with a deeply human approach, ensuring every patient feels heard, understood, and supported. A graduate of Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Smith went on to complete his six-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan, one of the nation's most respected and comprehensive training programs where he studied alongside nationally recognized leaders in the field. His residency provided extensive, hands-on experience across the full spectrum of ENT subspecialties, including head and neck oncology, rhinology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, otology, and sleep surgery. He further distinguished himself through a dedicated research fellowship focused on medical education, patient-care innovation, and addressing social determinants of health. His professionalism, integrity, and compassion were recognized with the prestigious Charles Krause Professionalism Award.

Dr. Smith offers comprehensive care for both adults and children with conditions involving the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. His clinical interests span minimally invasive sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, nasal obstruction, sleep-disordered breathing, pediatric ENT care, allergy management, skin cancer reconstruction, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has a particular passion for functional rhinoplasty, combining form and function to restore natural breathing and achieve balanced, long-lasting aesthetic results.

Dr. Smith's dedication to his field is rooted in personal experience. Having navigated a childhood hearing impairment and witnessing a family member's struggle against neck cancer; he developed an early appreciation for the profound impact ENT specialists can have on a patient's quality of life. This perspective continues to shape his practice—fueling his empathy, sharpening his communication, and reinforcing his belief that every patient deserves individualized, compassionate care so they can live and enjoy their best lives.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Smith is an avid wildlife photographer, traveler, and community volunteer. He values time with family and draws strength and purpose from his faith, which inspires his commitment to humility, service, and treating every patient with dignity.
