Our Licensed Audiologist Assistant
How Our Audiologist Assistants Can Help You
The Audiology Assistant's role at ENT of Georgia South is to support the audiologists and physicians by carrying out routine tasks so that the audiologists and physicians are available for assessing and treating ailments that require a higher level of skill, education, and experience.
An appointment with an Audiologist Assistant can be made for:
- Deep cleaning of devices
- Replacing of worn out or damaged hearing aid components
- Discussing and practicing basic hearing aid care and use
- Bluetooth troubleshooting of hearing aids or assistive devices
To determine if an appointment with an Audiologist Assistant is appropriate for your hearing aid concern please call our office today and ask to speak with Sara (Fayetteville) or Lynsie (Stockbridge/Buckhead)!
Meet Sara Cooper
Sara has been with ENT of Georgia South since January 2015 when she moved here from Pennsylvania. Shortly after moving to Georgia she joined the practice running the front desk in the Buckhead/West Paces Ferry office.
In 2017 she took the opportunity to progress her career by joining our Audiology Department. Currently, she assists Dr. Lanson and Dr. Wattman in day to day operations in the Fayetteville office. She completed her Audiologist Assistant diploma through Nova Southeastern University and was licensed as an Audiologist Assistant in the state of Georgia in 2018.
Outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband who is a local Firefighter/A-EMT, her stepson, and their three dogs.
