How Our Audiologist Assistant Can Help You

The Audiology Assistant's role at ENT of Georgia South is to support the audiologists and physicians by carrying out routine tasks so that the audiologists and physicians are available for assessing and treating ailments that require a higher level of skill, education, and experience.

An appointment with an Audiologist Assistant can be made for:

  • Discussing and practicing basic hearing aid care and use

Meet Sara Cooper

Sara has been with ENT of Georgia South since January 2015 when she moved here from Pennsylvania. Shortly after moving to Georgia, she joined the practice running the front desk in the Buckhead/West Paces Ferry office.

In 2017 she took the opportunity to progress her career by joining our Audiology Department. She sees patients in our Fayetteville location while assisting all four audiologists in day to day operations for all locations. She completed her Audiologist Assistant diploma through Nova Southeastern University and was licensed as an Audiologist Assistant in the state of Georgia in 2018.

Outside of the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband who is a local Firefighter/A-EMT, her stepson, and their three dogs.

COVID-19 Update

The doctors and staff at ENT of Georgia South are working hard to continue to provide excellent care while keeping our patients safe.

We have measures in place to simplify check in and have patients fill our paper work in the exam room or even in their own vehicle to reduce the number of patients in our waiting rooms. You can even fill at home online before your appointment.

We maintain diligent disinfectant techniques, and screen patients in advance showing signs and symptoms of viral illness that require they not be seen in the office. We also screen our employees daily although no one has developed Covid-19.
Ultimately if you don't feel comfortable coming in to our office, we are offering virtual appointments using video from your mobile device, tablet, or computer.

Please call our office and be assured we are committed to help you any way we can.
